Kerry, Pickens let bygones be bygones
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/business/7015361.html

WASHINGTON — Call them the odd couple of climate change.

Six years ago, oilman T. Boone Pickens paid millions to support TV ads run by Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, a group that attacked Democrat John Kerry's Vietnam War record in the 2004 presidential campaign.

This week, the Texas oilman visited Kerry to endorse a sweeping climate change bill the Massachusetts senator is pushing in the Senate.

Kerry called the Swift Boat ads old news and said he did not live his life looking backward. Pickens, who has been promoting his Pickens Plan to boost production of natural gas and domestic energy sources, said he was “out of politics” but backed the bill sponsored by Kerry and Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn. The bill encourages use of wind power and natural gas.

(that's it, short article)

1. And Pickens has huge natural gas holdings and acres purchased for windfarms.
Nothing wrong with making money, just saying that Pickens' interest is in getting money for himself.

3. There is if the climate bill is tailored towards the rich getting richer...
...and not a responsible bill, which it isn't.
