It is simply asserted that Awlaki has converted from a cleric who expresses anti-American views and advocates attacks on American military targets (advocacy which happens to be Constitutionally protected) to Actual Terrorist "involved in plots."

Either we have total adherence to standards of justice and behavior or we have nothing, and as a democracy that sets a world standard, politics and Party means nothing. YEP....It was totally misplaced and I accept being kicked in the ass. But the substance of the article which is about sidestepping our Constitution, just as Bush Cheney did, I find very questionable. The slope becomes very slippery as exceptions are made and I no longer trust our SCOTUS to protect our Constitution.
