2. Chuck is a piece of work....

I spent six months with Chuck back in 1985 when we were both brand new 2LTs at the Military Intelligence Center and School. He was a rabid Repub back then too. WIth luck Boxer will nail him and the other two Repub candidates. I wonder what Chuck would say today about the semester he spent in Egypt while a college student? I actually subscribed to his web page to see what he spouts, I'm not impressed. Thank goodness I'm not from CA, I've got enough problems in NC with Foxx and Burr.

4. DeVore is serving a good purpose........

Teabaggers love him, and they are mad as hell at Palin for endorsing his rival, Carly Fiorina.
Redstate is furious at Palin. Anything that promotes the infighting and takes support away from whackjob Palin is GOOD NEWS.

The concensus is that if Devore does not bow out, then Tom Campell gets the nomination - which will likely happen anyway.

And, in the end, it will not matter - Boxer will keep her seat, and the $$$$ spent by Fiorina and her supporters will be wasted. It is all good. But if Devore stays in (as a spoiler who gives an easy win to Campbell) -- all the better.
