I think those politians are using the phrase global warming do tend to indicate they haven't done the research. For a topic the Democrats can run and win on it would be good to see at least more in depth knowledge, we need confidence as well as solutions.

The term '' global warming'' is too general and confusing, it's far better they use the phrase global climate change at all times.

1. actually he said global warring twice (tho he meant to say one of each)
He needed that for his play on words. I prefer global climate change, too. I mean the term, not the reality.

2. Man's Activity has increased Green House Gases since the 1800's
The result is more heat capture in the atmosphere globally. The added energy changes the climate (much of it as added heat). Though not entirely interchangeable Global Warming is the basis and Climate Change is the result.

3. Yeah, it's more the confusion the phrase 'global warming' causes...
... I hear the planet tempreture rise more called 'global heating' lately.
