WHERE DO YOUR SENATORS STAND?
http://www.citizen.org/where-senators-stand

CALL TO FIND OUT TODAY
Help us find out whether your senators will stand with you or vote with the big banks!

Call your senators and find out where they stand on the “Merkley-Levin Amendment,” cosponsored by Sens. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) and Carl Levin (D-Mich.). This amendment would ensure that Wall Street banks like Goldman Sachs don’t get a government guarantee when they make huge, risky bets in the markets, and it would stop banks from engaging in Goldman-Sachs-style bets against their own clients.

Please make a quick call to your senators now. Call (202) 224-3121, ask for your senators, and use the script below:

“Does the senator support or oppose the Merkley-Levin amendment, which would stop government-insured banks from engaging risky trading?”

After you get an answer, let us know by leaving a comment below. We will use your information to help us target undecided senators and win over those who oppose the amendment. If you see your senators in the "OPPOSE" or "UNDECIDED" column to the right, please keep calling!

Link is a page to let Citizen.org know what your senator's office said after you call.

2. Since Carl is one of my senators,
I guess I know where he stands on this, since it bears his name. He's on the correct side, as he usually is. He and Stabenow both voted to break up the big banks, and I assume Debbie is on the same side with him again on this.

7. Already know Senator Softcore will oppose it--no need to call him.
As for Kerry? Pretty sure he'll be for it.
