1. Has anybody mentioned the inconvenient fact
Edited on Wed May-05-10 08:16 PM by The Velveteen Ocelot
that Osama bin Laden actually DID get away?

5. No......he was allowed to leave.
Bushco knew if he caught him at that time Iraq would have been off the table.

3. actually, if you think about it...
where would you rather face someone you assume is going to shoot it out?

I would wait until he was on a plane, through security and feeling safe.

How about you?

4. CBS was in full "almost got away" spin spin spin at 6.
Never mind the fact the even if the plane had got off the ground they would have turned it around.

It was sickening to watch.

6. I think they're still kvetching about Mr. Shahzad being subjected to the criminal justice system
"Oh, what if he hadn't talked?" Well, I'd assume that like we've done for decades with criminal suspects, we'd develop the evidence, get testimony from witnesses, try him in open court, and if the evidence was persuasive beyond a reasonable doubt, he'd be convicted and sentenced.

I don't understand why so many Republicans have so little faith in our courts, especially after seeing how so many of them have gone to prison. Seems to work with some manner of efficiency and reliability.
