5. The same people who are saying we're going to inevitably get creamed
are the same people who tell us that the tea bag movement is a "real grass-roots groundswell", and who told us that "everybody knows" John McCain was going to win in 2008.

So, I'm not worried. I think we may lose some seats- the President's party usually does- but I don't think it's going to be as bad as they say. I also think the GOP has massively over-reached with the rhetoric, lately, and people are getting sick of it.

3. Hard to say. There's a lot hinging on how the economy fares.
If the economy hasn't picked up steam by November, the incumbent party is usually the loser.
