5. Agreed.
And where is the photo of Lee Harvey Oswald getting shot? That's certainly iconic.

4. I agree with all except "St. Ronnie" and the Walll
Give me a break...

The rest are terrific and important. I would quibble with several rankings, though. When I think of photos that changed world opinion vis-a-vis the Vietnam War, it will always be the naked little girl fleeing napalm that does it. The execution of the N. Vietnamese is a powerful shot, no doubt, but that anguished innocent child is even more so.

Want to know WHY governments (including Obama's) don't release certain photos?

Hint: It is NOT to protect the innocent.

Sadly my hometown of Marion, Indiana. This happened at the county courthouse. There were three men accused of raping a white women. They were taken from the county jail by a lynchmob. Two of them were hanged. According to the third man the mob was set to hang him and someone yelled out and the mob let him go.

9. Was Adams' "Tetons and Snake River" one of his HDR works?
Seems to me that it was, IIRC.

(HDR = High Dynamic Range)
