...especially from somewho claims to be a devout Jews. It was in his lifetime that there was a regime that stripped away the citizenship of his own kin...first disenfranchised them, them made them outlaws and evetually alaughtered them just for having the wrong faith or last name. My bets are his parents immigrated here because they were "strangers in their own land"...escaping economic hardships and political persecution...seeing this country as the last great hope for justice and equality. This talk flies in the face of my grandparents who were immigrants and I would imagine for many American Jews.
