5. That about the way it works

Several times during my life I was self employed and it would always be the fat cat who would try to chisel me down on my prices after I had finished the job, never did a working stiff like myself ever try that shit. I'd go out and listen to what the 'fat cat' wanted and see what they were talking about and work out a bid and all I'd hear is sounds good when can you start. Then when it came time to pay they'd welch every time, I'd just dig my heals in and ever did give in either.
