3. I rarely, RARELY, disagree with you my dear malaise. Love you to death...BUT...
I have to respectfully disagree. I think Dylan Ratigan is fair and balanced in his analysis of the financial/economic situation. Yes, he can be critical of Dems. But, he is equally critical of the thugs.

I hope you still respect me ;)

He calls us the "Democrat party" and ALWAYS says "both sides do it" regardless of the truth.

Ratigan is a hack, and a liar at the very least.

of him saying that. Otherwise, you're opinion is noted.

ETA: Let me add that, if I had heard Ratigan use that term, I would be less supportive as I cannot stand it when someone uses that term. Oh, and both sides are complicit in not getting the problems of our country fixed. HCR took over a year? Despite Dems having an across-the-board majority? Yes! BOTH SIDES DO IT!

20. No....he simply agreed with Bunning that Republicans didn't vote for TARP......
and that the Democratic plan stinks, Although Republicans need to come up with a plan.
So in essence he holds the Democrats having a plan and trying to bring a bill to the senate for debate the same as Republicans with no fucking plan voting no on everything.

That's why he's wrong....because he always has the Democrats being wrong no matter what they do....

He's a CNBC hack that was sent over to MSNBC to talk fast and make both parties seem all wrong,
when it is the Republicans who are wrong 100% of the time....even if you wouldn't know it
by watching him.

He's full of Corporate shit, although he tries to hide it.

47. They got rid of Glass Steagall quickly enough didn't they?
With the helpe of all but 7 Senate Democrats. So, now they see what a disaster that produced, they have the majority, the Repubs are never going to agree with any Dem. Bill, so what IS stopping them?

The bill IS a joke if it does not restore the regulations that prevented the greedy criminals on Wall St. from collapsing the economy.

What is so difficult about this? We were told by DEMOCRATS that things were so bad, they HAD TO bail out the crooks on Wall St. IF that is the case, then they need to act on behalf of this country for once, and put a stop to the runaway capitalist criminality which WILL NOT stop unless someone stops them.

As for Ratigan, I haven't watched him enough to have much of an opinion of him. But it doesn't make someone a Republican to point out that Dems need to start doing their job when it comes to Wall St.

Most days I share it.

I won't rub your face in it, but I sure would like to do a happy dance over it. Really, I understand the cynicism. But I won't call them out until they quit.

If it doesn't do enough in the end, well then there that will be. But there will be something and that's more than we've got right now.

And if you like some of the proposed ammendments, call your Senator and ask them to cosponsor. This is the time to quit griping and start doing.

There are some really good ammendments on the table, so please don't start already about how bad the bill is, or how much it won't do. Not yet. At least not until we get them to debate the damn thing.

35. As long as they hear what they want to hear,
they don't hear the rest of the bullshit being thrown.

Ratigan is excellent at playing both sides, and making Democrats
appear to be as bad as Republicans always, and oftentimes worse.

Right before 2010 election, he will all of the sudden side with Democrats
being voted out as the majority, and folks here that like him now, will either
be agreeing with him or scratching their ass trying to figure out why Ratigan
would prefer Democrats out of power. By then it will be too late for those who
were fooled in believing that Ratigan was an honest broker to realize they were
bamboozled into siding with someone who worked to get the Democrats into the minority
with his bullshit show.....kind of like Lou Dobbs, Mr. Independent, did.

Dobbs = Ratigan....different subject, different times, same tactics.
