From a Facebook message after joining the group http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=121079247907868:

Because of our close partnership with WIND, members of the Chicago Tea Patriots have been offered a special ticket price of 50% off all remaining tickets.

In order to take advantage of this special ticket pricing, please go to www.Ticketmaster.com or call 800-745-3000 and use the code word: WIND.

Additional information about "An Evening with Sarah Palin" can be found at www.560WIND.com

Buses will be chartered and leave from the Mt. Greenwood/Oak Lawn and Midway Airport areas. Please let me know, if you would like to take the bus.

And if you do attend, make sure you stop by and say hi to the Chicago Tea Patriots, who will be teaming up with Adam Andrzjewski of Open the Books and David Smith of the Illinois Family Institute -- a trio of conservatives.

Feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.

I'm real excited and look forward to seeing you.

God bless,

Catherina Wojtowicz,
Chicago Tea Patriots

UPDATE: She is also headlining a fundraiser

The Illinois Republican Party is stepping up its general election fundraising by featuring former Alaska governor Sarah Palin at a Chicago-area fundraiser May 12.

Palin, the 2008 running mate to GOP presidential contender Sen. John McCain of Arizona, remains both controversial and a draw.

She is scheduled to be at the Westin O'Hare in Rosemont for 2 hours that day and state Republicans are trying to make the most of it.

For $25,000 donated or raised, a donor gets to be part of a private round table during the first half hour, including a photo. A $10,000 donation or fundraising bundle nets a photo and participation in the next half hour's VIP reception.

A general reception will follow at $500 per person or $750 per couple, but no photo.

I was going to rant about that, but then I washed my hands and lost my notes.

"You'll be able to hear Gov. Palin with no media spin, no liberal filters, and she'll be answering your questions." :woohoo:

It should be like a night at the comedy club. I only wish they were serving alcohol.

11. Heck...she'll be participating in one of those big
motivational seminars in Minneapolis on May 26. Just $4.95 and you can get in to hear her speak, if that's your wish.

I can't imagine that it's worth that much, so I won't be there. You can have my space.

13. WIND Is A Joke...
Even the wingnuts I know can't listen to it...prefer WLS (I prefer the sound of nail on a blackboard vs. WLS). No surprise, this station's ratings are barely visible. Too bad...I was hoping someone would crash this party...another Salem astroturfed "event" to try to soak their brain-dead but cash heavy "listeners".
