I sent the article "Imagine if the Tea Party was Black" ( http://www.sanfranciscosentinel.com/?p=70545 ) to a friend, and he forwarded it to a guy who sends him RW stuff. Below is the guys answer to the piece.

If you haven't read "Imagine... Black", you should.

Amazing racism in the response. I wonder if these people are even aware of their own racism. I wonder if they are aware of their minority status.

People used to say this shit to their friends - face to face - but certainly didn't broadcast it. The racial environment in this country is, in many ways, worse than it was 30 years ago.

all races and cultures have their own ways and values that they cherish

what's wrong with keeping America a European/white country?

it is impossible to have different ethnic groups living in harmony at close quarters
history proves that

what will that be like to live in?
does it make any difference?

I've come to my own personal conclusions after much soul searching:
yes, race does matter
race is real
and it's normal and natural to be for your own race
not to hate other races but to value your own

as for white privilege
I'm all for it
as long as we earned it it's ours"

Well then it's not theirs.

The people who provided that "white privilege" were the American Indians and Mexicans whose land they stole. The Black slaves who built most of the south and some of the north, the Chinese who worked as slaves to build railways. And all minorities, but especially Hispanics, who still work for below market wages to provide low cost products and services so this fool can view himself as the "white privileged".

Then there are all of the other brown people around the world whose lands have been stolen and exploited, and work for cents a day to provide this fool with his so called "white privilege".

Your friend's acquaintance is a 1st degree racist and no doubt has done very little in his life to "earn" any privilege much less a privilege based on his race.

I should not leave off the list exploiting and subjugating women, Irish and Italians among other minority groups so that fools like this could pretend he's earn some kind of "privilege".

I can guarantee this tool is also a liar. He claims to have done some soul searching. I think there is very strong evidence that he does not have one.
