It aint just ideology.
Republicans have declared war on all Dem natural constituencies. They do feel like they hate immigrants, poor, minorities, women, gays, liberals. But, the froth, is not ideological. It is cynical and calculated. Acorn, Van Jones, Hispanics, gays are all dependable Dem votes. So, the Repubs have declared war on half of our population. This makes them UNFIT to lead. EVER. They will dispatch half of us to irrelevance. HALF. If we dont wake up, and see these things for what they are, we will lose. They are stockpiling weapons, and ammo. Survival gear. They are ramping up eliminationist rhetoric. And they have Roberts, to rubberstamp all the Jimmy Crow. Folks, half our population has declared war on us. Should we wait till they kill? They killed Van Jones, they killed ACORN. They have killed others that drop out of contention. If Dems, and Liberals/Progressives dont extend a show of force, they will assume us soft, as they always have, and will move to slam us. Yes, I believe they would accept any political arrangement where they rule. And the iron boot will be custom fitted to every one of us. They will do as in all tyrannical governments. Cull the educated, the union activists, the outspoken. Is there any doubt we will have death squads, and the dissapeared, if they gain dictatorship? The Patriot act allows the pres to deem you not a citizen. Those assumed not covered by our con, which will be null and void, can be tortured or killed, as they have no protections.

Call me paranoid, but all my thoughts, come straight from Fox News, righties, and my observations of human nature. Keep your powder dry, and your mind tough. They will not go down lightly. And going down, is what they will do, if they do not subvert us. Let's Roll.

1. Calm down. There will not be a civil war. There won't be purges.
And if there are either, we will have much clearer evidence long before we need to act.

2. You Think?
They have the Dominionists walking every town and neighborhood marking out anyone, business or otherwise, that they consider "of the Devil"...how hard will it be, when these same people decide to act, for them to be swift? How will the overwhelmed police be able to protect the citizens from a national effort...I think they are extremely well organized and all acting with one thing in mind. They will stop at nothing...they are doing God's work! I don't put anything past them.

3. The path to civil war is through a series of escalating steps...
Before the first shot was fired at Fort Sumter, the U.S. went through decades of increased tension and polarization as the North worked to control the spread of slavery west and the South fought the economic controls of the Government. Bleeding Kansas occurred from 1854-1858, in which relatively low scale murder, mayhem, and guerrilla style warfare occurred around the issue of slavery. Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry occurred on July 3, 1859.

I believe there could be a civil war, but we are still a ways form such an event. The right wing attacks, such as the man that flew his plane into the IRS building, and the legal maneuvering, such as the tenth amendment movement in the states and Arizona and Oklahoma laws, are possible precursors. Another precursor are the outspoken right wing politicians like Perry who are calling for secession.

But we don't have to go there. The Arizona laws have led to outrage among those who see them as Fascist style nationalism and racism. In Oklahoma, their governor actually vetoed the ridiculous abortion laws. Rick Perry wants to run for President, of the United States not Texas, which makes his pandering to secessionist suspect. (Imagine a Democratic add during the 2012 election where Perry is shown calling for secession. That won't fly well outside of Texas.)

Rather than keeping your powder dry, express your outrage to our elected leaders, on line, and to the states. A letter writing campaign to the Arizona Chamber of Commerce will hit them where their capitalist hearts are kept.
