Once again I am the richest man in the world.
My 15 year old son has gone to bed after watching a dvd w/ me (Blindside)
and his 3 year old labrador retriever buddy is on the bed w/ him.

The simple things are good!

1. Life is all about the simple joys.
I'm about to eat a plate of chicken fingers. I'm good. ;-)

You have obviously done quite a few things right...

And your son is giving mute testimony to that...

6. Sounds heavenly...
So many people don't stop and look at these small moments, and they
miss so much. So much of life's beauty is the very ordinary things
that happen.

My husband and two daughters (ages 10,9) went shopping for potting soil
and landscaping rock. We had a blast, and all we were doing is shopping
at various stores--looking for dirt and rocks. We were outside in the sunshine,
looking at all kinds of trees, plants and flowers. It was glorious.

Here's to all of the extraordinary-ordinary moments in all of our lives! :)

9. I woke up to a tongue in the face.....
...my black lab licks my face to wake me up so he can pee. HE has a doggie door, but likes for me to take him out in the morning.
What he really wants to do is go get the paper so he can receive his treat, but first he has to take his piss stop.

18. When I was a kid delivering papers...I offered "porch service"
But this one guy at one house asked me to please leave the paper at the end of the driveway. His dog just loved to retrieve it for him and it wasn't as much fun if the paper is on the porch. So that's what I did! I got tipped for dropping the paper at the end of the driveway..LOL

Flowers and greenery abound right outside my living room window, down the street and as far as the eye can see!

Is there a more beautiful place on earth than Ohio in the Springtime???

Happy Wealth day, fellow Fat Cat and fellow Ohioan!

12. My greatest joys are playing with my 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter,
weeding the garden, and releasing a fish for someone else to catch. I don't need a lot of money to be happy, but I do need my health.

19. This is my buddy Korbin
He was almost three when this picture was taken. He was a late bloomer and wasn't talking yet. (but so very smart)

His parents moved out of state for a couple of years and last month, they moved back! He is now 5 and he isn't only talking, he is READING!!! I can't wait to see him. We are going to do a family picnic when the weather warms up.
Look at those little sandals..so cute

13. So am I
Spent the evening with our son and his family sharing the fish he caught yesterday. Plinking cans with our pellet guns and swapping tall stories. Today we'll be working on his golf cart project and trying to run the squirrel out of our soffit before she becomes a family too.

Yup its the simple things that make life worth living.

+1

Just A Perfect Day,

I Thought I Was Someone Else,
Someone Good.

Oh It's Such A Perfect Day,
I'm Glad I Spent It With You.

You Just Keep Me Hanging On,
You Just Keep Me Hanging On.
