Did you get angry when the Supreme Court “Conservative” Five stopped a legal recount and appointed a President?

Did you get angry when Cheney allowed energy company officials to dictate energy policy while excluding any environmentalists from that meeting?

Did you get angry when Bush’s generals let Bin Laden escape from Tora Bora?

Did you get angry when a covert CIA operative was outed because her husband did his job and exposed Bush’s lies about yellowcake uranium?

Did you get angry when the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, and the John Warner Defense Bill were passed and our Constitutional rights were shredded?

Did you get angry when Bush illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us?...............................................................

2. I have gotten basically 4 reactions

When asking these same questions..well not the same wording, but close.
One was a dumbfounded look and walk away.
Two was change the subject "Obama is a MUSLIM or FURRINER"
Three was dumb look and shake of fist.
Four was what PROOF do you have.

5. I have brought that up too a

and they go off on Socialism, Facism..I had that discussion with mom too. I said can you define ? then went into corporates when they take over a democracy and use war/murder that is called fascim..not a text book definition but one that will do..and did get agreemennt then. I said we need public campaign funding and oversight. So in that one case I got through.

6. Good. It really is very important to talk about these things in ways that work. It's taboo

to talk about important stuff, not "polite", not acceptable, and yet that is what we need the most. Teaching those with whom we dare to try to have a civil conversation about really powerfully important stuff.
