1. When I was growing up in Arizona, I had many opportunities to embrace

Mexican traditions. Every birthday included a pinata. Tamales were a staple at the local swimming pool concession stand. Many of my classmates immigrated from Mexico. I'm sick thinking about the mentality of those in office who would pass such a discriminatory law. Everyone on edge with this crappy economy, and now some have an added burden to live with-looking brown.
