Let's all join in and write a pilot for a new teevee show to be filmed in a southwestern desert state. We'll call it Governor's Gone Wild.

It will focus on the future. Aging Viet Nam vets with "kill records" will be appointed by a jackbooted sheriff with a proclivity for putting sweaty men living in entertainment-free tents in pink underwear as deputies to patrol the borders.

We need a lead actor who can play one of the armed men and who imitate this guy, as the show will be comedy.



He'll be the smart one. He needs a sidekick. An actor who looks like this will be the dumb sidekick (just to put a fresh spin on things)



The sheriff will be played by this guy



He'll also have a loony sidekick. How about this old coot?

Hogan's Heroes was a great show that made fun of the bad guys, although mostly in mockery.

I liked that show when growing up, and it also fits the motif.

This is part of the continuing divide and conquer game that keeps all of us diverted from paying attention to the real problems in our country.

But since they are "only" Hispanics, some think this is not a problem that can affect the rest of us.
