CNN's American Morning John Roberts Extreme Makeover.......

I don't watch Morning Joe on MSNBC because I can't stand the idiot host and his equally idiot female sidekick so I started watching CNN in the morning - the American Morning show. Recently I've noticed that John Roberts - the male co-host - looked different. First he/they changed his hair style. I thought his new style looked ridiculous. It looked like a cross between a hip-hopper and porcupine. It's showing too much of his forehead and he toned down the grey in it. Today when I turned in he is now dressing ridiculous. His outfit today is a weird color grey suit, a blue striped shirt and a pinkish-red tie. Now he looks like a 'pimp'. It is very hard to look at him now and he just looks like a clown.

I don't know why he or they(CNN) are trying to change his image - but - he's gone off the deep end with this extreme makeover and now I just go to the computer to get my morning news cause I just can't watch the cable news shows anymore.

Am I being too critical here? Has anybody else noticed his makeover?

5. Someone Is Still Watching CNN???

I throw on CSPIN's Washington Journal...I could never stomache Joey and his little coffee klatch and totally pulled the plug on CNN (who I used to watch 24/7) when Aaron Brown was pushed out the door. The network has been on a long decline that a cosmetic make-over isn't going to fix. Maybe when David Shuster arrives there in the Fall there'll be something worth tuning in for.

While WJ is front loaded with clowns from the Hemmorage Institute and AEI goons, I tune in for the calls...both right and left...there's always a good laugh to be had.

pimp is probably not as strong as word as needed to describe how he looks. I turn it over to see him because I can't stand him or the bimbo with him...I equally despise Morning Joke and the blond bimbo but MSNBC has Eugene Robinson on a lot and I love him.

John Roberts at CNN is the former JD Roberts, music reporter and VJ at CityTV and Much Music in Toronto.

He used to do a show with Jeanne Beker (later of Fashion TV) called The New Music back in the late 70's and early 80's. He's from Mississauga (a suburb of Toronto) and has, to my knowledge, two working eyes.

23. I gave up on cable "news" several years ago. I think when Bo Dietl (?) showed

up (I think that's his name, a private detective that says "fuck" a lot). I don't mind people saying "fuck" a lot, I do myself. I draw the line at getting my "news" and "political commentary" from people who probably were unable to finish High School...or just barely made it.
