Personally, I couldn't stand to watch Beck for 10 seconds.

26. Any professional comedian knows how to handle hecklers

I love watching John Stewart and Bill O'Reilly spar just because when Stewart is in the studio you can literally completely sense the fear and anxiety coming off from O'Reilly. With no other man does O'Reilly tread so softly and watch his words so carefully because he can never tell whether he's being baited brilliantly into looking like a fool or not.

On top of that, going after the show itself is suicide. You're clashing heads with who knows how many comedy writers who have years of experience in satire and ridiculing hypocrisy.

And I might add that it's true on both sides of the political divide. Keith is trying to be more and more entertaining, and Tweety (Hardball's Sideshow feature) and when I turned Rachael on one day and she was wearing a pointed party hat, I was sad.

Cable news is becoming a joke. FOX does nothing but lie and spin, CNN is the tabloid channel, and MSNBC is the snarky left. Might as well watch something truly funny like the Daily Show as shows that try to be a mixture of funny and informative and not really succeeding well at either.

Stewart is very funny but he also manages to make some good points.
