NPR: Health Law Rolls Back Abortion Rights, Groups Say
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=126000118

"Timothy Jost, a law professor at Washington and Lee University in Virginia, agrees. "I think across the board this is a bill that is a pro-life bill and is going to lead to fewer rather than more abortions. And I think it's very unfortunate that people who oppose this bill for other reasons are attacking it as an abortion-funding bill, which it definitely is not.""

Read the full article. NPR is a great source of real information.

3. An Obama win was more important than women's rights.
Sad that Obama would rather entrench and further injustice rather than take a principled stand and lose.

6. Some of us have been there awhile
And it's amazing how even on DU people don't understand the important things that are happening. They keep looking at the distractions, like Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin. They need to focus on laws, not on buffoons.

13.  And FOCA has never been passed or even brought to the table despite a solid
promise to Planned Parenthood. But promises don't mean anything I guess. This is what I have been told.
