1. I was laying down in my backyard last night about an hour before this
I saw a flash in the sky, brighter than a shooting star but not even close to this.

3. Not unlike a couple of incidents in the west a few months ago
Wonder if we are going through a debris field of some sort, or if the rest of the galaxy is just chucking rocks at us ;)

While I am VERY uncomfortable with the fact that we seem to have surveillance cameras on us everywhere these days, they do seem good at capturing images of these meteor fly-bys! Seems likely we will get more videos of this one as people check their video feeds.

Very glad we were out and about last night & saw it. It seemed to break into 3 flaming streak/balls at the end

...on ATC estimated the size of the meteor before breakup to be about one yard long (!!!) Hate to see what a BIG one would look like!:nuke:
