Never Have Political Minorities Been Given So Much Attention
It was just reported that 18% of Americans polled support the Tea Party Movement. It was stated on CNN's premiere of I.O.U.S.A: Solutions that 17% of the Tea Party Movement considered themselves Democrats. Under normal circumstances political minorities of this scale would not be getting any attention or would be laughed at. It is just silly that so much attention is being given to the Tea Party Movement when it has very little support throughout the country.

2. You are so right and it is so ridiculous. The media must understand what they
are doing. If Nader and the Greens had gotten so much attention in years past they would be a power to reckon with right now. The greens could have grown to be huge if their word got out on the news every time they made noise about something. For that matter if the progressives got any of that attention they would be huge now. Remember when the progressives and Dems had to hold hearings in the basement of congress? Didn't hear much about that on the news. Remember all those anti-war protests? The free speech zones?

3. They are tools of the media...
And the media is using them. The obviously FALSE and INFLATED numbers of attendees at the Boston rally today speaks volumes to the length they will go to lie about this movement... I've seen diapers full of bigger movements than this!

4. Actually political minorities that represent powerful interests have always gotten attention...
Edited on Wed Apr-14-10 06:02 PM by Bjorn Against
Of course the only political minorities that get this kind of attention are those that represent the wealthy ruling class, because the Tea Party shares their agenda they get the attention while other movements get ignored.

Make no mistake about it, the media is not on the side of those of us who are fighting against corporate interests.
