Anybody heard Big Eddie on a now STATE SPONSORED
Militia?

Nah, that could not happen. Didn't some of us say the pattern was reminiscent of 1850s?

Again, what is that famous saying Santayana was so fond?

Oh never mind, I should go back to my nap.

By the way, Potock of the Southern Poverty was scared, and he is right to be. This is not fun, to see the country going down those fateful steps and being able to almost predict them, since the PATTERN is accelerating.

1. Gerhart was also on Tweety
These are the same people who allowed Bush to send their National Guard to Iraq.

The corporate media has enabled all the lies that are fueling this madness.

3. Yes, but now we have the oathkeepers
and add tea party in the armed forces.

We are in for an acceleration.

On the bright side, history will prove me right, on the down side, I'd rather not be right.

We're now entered very dangerous territory

era.
I mean KKk, Dominionists, survivalists and jus plain crazy.
I have been saying they will eventually be 'brave' enough to start shooting. I could give examples of Holocaust survivors that told me in the early 90s that said the US is having the same kind of outspoken crazy shit that happened before Kristallnacht.
I have had wanna be 'revolutionaries' come up to and tell me they have so many rounds of this kind of ammo and this and that kind of guns..in multiples. I have also been to Dominionist churches where some little Auntie opens her purse and showed me what looked like an uzi. If I had gone to authorities and said these things I would have been locked up..then again I have seen some pretty sorry behavior from feds too.

Pentagon Moves to Tighten Ban on Supremacist Activity Following SPLC Reports About Extremists in the Ranks
04/13/2010

Since the SPLC warned the U.S. military about extremist activity among active-duty personnel in 2006, the Pentagon brass has steadfastly denied that a problem existed and insisted that its “zero-tolerance” policy was sufficient to keep organized racists out of its ranks. Recently, however, the military quietly strengthened its rules to prohibit a range of supremacist activities.

6. I googled Gerhart but just got the Heisman Trophy guy -- so who is the Gerhart
you're referring to? Never mind, I think he was probably the guy in the black tee shirt who was supporting militias. D'oh. I didn't get a chance to listen closely, though, so I'll watch the repeat.

11. Al Gerhart - a raving lunatic
http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/04/is_it_scary_sure_it_is_--_tea_partiers_want_oklaho.php?ref=mp

Tea Party leaders in Oklahoma have been talking to Republican state legislators about introducing legislation to create a new volunteer militia, designed to protect against what they see as the federal government's infringements on state sovereignty, reports the Associated Press.

"Is it scary? It sure is," Tea Party leader Al Gerhart told the AP. "But when do the states stop rolling over for the federal government?"

"It's not a far-right crazy plan or anything like that," Tulsa-based Tea Party leader, J.W. Berry, assured the AP. "This would be done with the full cooperation of the state Legislature."

Gerhart, Berry, and their friends have found some receptive ears in the State Capitol. State Sen. Randy Brogdon, a Republican who is running for governor, told AP that he'd spoken to supporters of the idea, and that the Second Amendment makes it constitutional.

The founding fathers, said Brogdon, "were not referring to a turkey shoot or a quail hunt. They really weren't even talking about us having the ability to protect ourselves against each other. The Second Amendment deals directly with the right of an individual to keep and bear arms to protect themselves from an overreaching federal government."

2. Oklahoma is one weird state.
When will they bring back slavery, the concept of 3/5s of a person, and forced prayer in skule?
