Steele really is Erkel, a nerd, a doofus, a guy who is in way over his head, and has decided to act like a tough, street-wise hustler in the process. Part of it's funny, part of it's sad, part of it is really, really annoying.

Part of me wishes he were smart enough to step aside and spare himself any additional embarrassment. The other part of me wants to see him reap what he's sown.
