Calling Swamp Rat for a new poster: Palin, Bachmann, Seek Two Additional Horsemen
MINNEAPOLIS (The Borowitz Report) -- Making a joint appearance at a Tea Party rally in Minneapolis, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn) put out a cryptic call for "two more horsemen" to join their movement.

"Michele and me, that's two horsemen right there," Gov. Palin told the exuberant crowd. "You add two more horsemen into the mix and we'll be good to go."

<snip>

The Tea Party rally featuring Palin and Bachmann received wide coverage, including in the collected works of Nostradamus and in the prophecies of ancient Mayans.

Calling Swamp Rat! A poster waiting to be made!! I nominate Limbaugh for one of the other two horsemen although I would pity the horse. Anyone else have a better suggestion?

1. I nominate Limbaugh for one of the horses
Sorry horses, that was in poor taste.

2. Maybe if one of the horses is turned backwards
Come to think of it, Bachman riding a horse's ass sounds just about right.

4. Is Sarah, the horse's ass?
Enquiring minds need to know.

7. Actually, Bachmann and Palin could both be riding horse's asses
Those would be Limbaugh and Beck, of course.

6. Since these are four horsewomen of the apocalypse,
I say they are greed, stupidity, racism and hypocrisy. I'd say Michelle and Sarah have claimed the first two. There are several other candidates, Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Jean Schmidt, Katherine Harris, etc. etc..

8. I would say the four horsewomen are
Palin, Bachmann, Malkin, and Coulter.

The patoots are Rove, Limbaugh, Beck, and GW.

5. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, eh?
That would be conquest, war, famine and pestilence. Or, perhaps in Palin's case, petulance.
What a lovely quartet!
Do you think Sarah has a clue what she's talking about?
All in all, the metaphor could be pretty accurate.

12. She doesn't necessarily have a clue, but she's certainly imagining herself to be
helping to bring about the apocalypse, doing politics for jesus. I don't think there's any doubt about the religious delusions of these women.

11. Has anyone else ever got the feeling.
That either news reports of what people say, or what some people say, or postings about news reports about what people say...

seem to have some kind of correlation to other things you have posted?

I don't think correlation is causation, but it seems statistically that there is a higher then random number of matches to some things I have posted, compared to some things later heard in news stories.

Anyone else get that feeling. Most every thought goes against that possibility, since it is also an ego trap thought, but it seems some news story writers, or some people are bouncing off of some posts I have made.

I know when we post about a news story, we do that very thing. Read something in news, then post a thought correlating to it, but it seems it is going the other way, where some posts are creating news stories or comments from people often in the news.

Does anyone else think it seem that way also?
