You will hear the same "Keywords" over and over again, and here they are:

Obama
Reid
Pelosi
radical agenda
socialist agenda
defy public opinion
higher taxes
ram through

...and if you listen to Fax News or hours of RE radio, you will here these same terms dozens, if not hundreds of times a day. No explanation is needed, as repetition is all that matters. Did coca-cola have to explain why Coke was "The Real Thing"? No, just say it enough and garbage sugar water that rots your teeth, becomes the best selling drink in the world.

What do you think is the best way to counter this "keyword stuffing" strategy by the Republicans?

And what simple words/phrases would be effective to use against these guys?

I'll start it off with:

torture party
party of bush
wall street party
"hell no" party
party of greed

5. I find that "Party of Bush" is a trap.
Pukes and Libertarians love to trash Bush. They will call him a closet Democrat because of his spending. This is what their leaders have been telling them. They tossed Bush under the bus while he was still in his last year as president.

None of them will support him and none will own him so when you say he started wars or destroyed the economy they act as if Bush never existed and it's all Obama's problem now anyway.

7. We need short and pithy phrases
The Corporate Party
Bankers' Party
Party of Corporate Welfare Queens
Outsourcers' Party
Party to Protect Wealthy Assets
Party of the Haves

I'm sure you get my point -- tie the GOP to the bankers and corporations that are not the common people. Tie it to peoples' wallets - make them think that a vote of the GOP is a vote AGAINST their financial interest.

12. We Need a Positive Narrative
about the future and stay above the name calling.

The TeaKluxKlan is killing the GOP...let them.
Time and demographics are not on their side.

13. I don't disagree, however ...
the positive narrative is there - it may not be perfect, but a MONSTER big time bill in HCR, and it effectively has been negatively reframed ... BO has gotten some serious shiite down, but the get mashed ...

The Rs are going rock bottom and dragging the incumbant party down with it ... The MSM is carrying their water for them, and not giving any life to anything positive for the Ds ...

I agree with the OP, the dems have to negatively paint the Rs ... it sucks, but it is the rules of the game as defined by the "liberal" MSM ...

Party of No is the starting point, and work from there - people have added in good lines ... Hit them hard and low, only way to muck it through his fall ...

The memes are that "they are all the same ..." any way, if the only ones throwing crape are the Rs, the Ds are going to the be only ones with crape on them ...
