Democrats are in deep trouble, they're mired in the mud, it looks really bad for them, OMG their unfavorables have never been lower, no excitement, progressives are fooling themselves and don't really understand how things work, it's gonna be a miracle if they can hold onto the house. Heads are shaking sadly but wisely, the tones are somber. Let's bury the party already.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, and they said no black men could ever be elected president.

4. Good let the GOP think it's about to win
and we'll all get all of our people out to vote in November out of fear of John Boener and Eric Cantor taking over the house

9. It's pretty clear that we are doomed.
I'm just glad that there are people like Newt and Hannity to keep us apprised of our doomedness.

the news on any network, it sounds bad for us. I keep wondering why we don't hear more positive things about our party. Where are our cheer leaders? The rethugs have Palin. Who is ours? I'd like to see some TV ads that praise the Democratic Party and tells what we stand for and what our goals are. Something to dispute the lies and twisted truths that the other side keep brainwashing their followers with.

If the Democratic Party doesn't start standing up for itself better, we could lose more seats in the next election than we can afford. If only we could get a public option in place before the election. I really think that could help.

I don't want to get too confident. I never thought bush/cheney would win a second term, and look what happened.

15. Take the Florida senate race for instance
You NEVER ever even hear a word about Kendrick Meek running for the dems for that seat, it's all Crist-Rubio. Maybe after the GOP primary we'll start getting some coverage-I doubt it, but hey...

19. After eight years
of what the repubs put this country through, we should win every election for the next fifty years. But now it looks like we've lost that momentum. And I blame the DNC for not making their point better and trying too hard to get the repubs to join in. If we lose the majority in either house, I'm going to figure that the DNC just threw it all away.
