Who is on SSD, welfare, and qualifies for a bridge card that is loaded at the beginning of each month to purchase food, but he recently told me that the card's funding was cut by two-thirds this year. He was very depressed about the big cut in benefits, but he and his ten year old son are obese, they both really need to lose about a hundred pounds, and now will have to look much more carefully at the prices of the food they get at the grocery store with it.

Last summer they were getting ready to grill a couple of steaks, and waved them at my wife, (who had lost her PT minimum wage job the month before) when she went outside to go to the store, they knew that we were struggling to make ends meet and pay the rent back then, and didn't have much to eat, esp. near the end of the month. My wife was so angry about what they did, that I had to calm her down, and explain to her that his mother had purchased his condo, which made it easier for them to spend money on other than necessities.

Karma is a bitch, buddy!!
