1. The media I read and listen to don't emphaize that, but since...
it seems even about half of DU thinks the bill sucks, saying the public is skeptical would be a fair call.

They will use it as long as they can to capture the demographic that believes it.

Like overturning Rowe.

And THAT goes for both sides.

<on edit> Just because you see that the other side is being mislead and manipulated doesn't mean that you are not being mislead and manipulated. You're just being shuffled into a different pen.

6. As long as they keep getting their news from AEI and Heritage
When the news becomes indistinguishable from the AEI and Heritage Foundation's talking points then it will be those two organizations that decide what and how long any news item is covered. They set the agenda, send their talking points out all across the nation, and we get fed that horseshit back as if it were news.

10. They call them "Think Tanks"...
I personally think they should be refereed to as "conniving underhanded political manipulation cesspools."

13. Right now they're busy giving free advertising to the Apple iPad.
But I'm sure they'll be right back to trashing Obama's successes in a day or two.

disguising RW Talking points as "news"...I saw it this morning, and yes, he used the words "to a skeptical public".

I asked them if they might limit "opinion" news to weekday evenings, and stop trying to pass off Republican Editorials as "straight news".

I reminded the editor that Obama was voted into office largely on the BASIS of reforming health care, and asked when they would stop acting as if the bill were "pushed in, kicking and screaming, over the will of the public".

I ended by expressing my disgust that one couldn't watch the "news" anymore without having Republican talking points pushed down our throats....As points of contention, none of this may be strike them as "new", but I can't just sit there anymore and listen to their propaganda posing as "news".
