I awakened this morning (which is a good thing) and started thinking (which may be a bad thing)
that the RW Hate-filled propaganda machine may wind up having cast a spell similar to the one in The Sorcerer's Apprentice. In order to figuratively carry the water(!) for the extremists, they may, or already have, lost control of the process and have opened a (politically) ancient box and can't get the genii back into it.

Some of the wingers such as David Frum have already become casualties, and there will be more, because no one is "perfect" except (so far) Slimebaugh and Beck, and even Beck has, in the past, shown cracks in his 'faith' not because he is ideologically impure, but that he has no ideology at all whatsoever and is playing these idiots for fools as he collects his gigantic paycheck.

When all manner of control is lost, then there will be no Magician who can counteract the malignant spell. That's the difference between Reality and Fiction.

These were my first thoughts this morning...how sick is that?

so correct about the malignant spell. And if all hell breaks out, the RW evil hate spewers will say "Who, me?" The Sorcerer's Apprentice is an excellent image/example.

4. May I remind you that turning 70 is far better than stopping at 69.

6. Why would your math teacher say Corregidor in this context?
Just currious if you know.

On edit: my math teacher flew in the same squdron as Jimmy Stewart...he said that Stewart routinely flew lead bomber which, of course, was the one shot at first...or so he said.

Not. Thanks for your clarification. "Jimmy Stewart: Bomber Pilot chronicles the star's long journey to become a bomber pilot in combat. Author Starr Smith recounts how Stewart's first battles were with the Air Corps high command, who insisted on keeping the naturally talented pilot out of harm's way as an instructor pilot for B-17 Flying Fortresses and B-24 Liberators. We learn how, by 1944, Stewart managed to get assigned to a Liberator squadron that was deploying to England to join the mighty Eighth Air Force - and how, once in the thick of it, he rose to command his own squadron and flew twenty combat missions, including one to Berlin." I loved Jimmy Stewart. I miss him. :(

10. I saw Raquel Welch
On the teevee this morning. She is in her seventies? There was some serious work done on that woman. She looks like 40.

14. She's 69 and still drop dead gorgeous. If she had work it was flawless. At least bodywise
she's been practicing extreme yoga for 30 years.
