No regulations or safety when it comes to corporations and those regulations that do exist are got around via corruption?

Perhaps if Teabaggers are really so unhappy in America under Democratic leadership, they should move to China?

2. Republican, yes
as China is no longer Communist, but is rather Fascist.

Tea Party/Ron Paul types? That's Somalia.

3. Most people should remember Potterstown from "It's a Wonderful Life".
That's the result of the Republican worship of financial gain over social conscience.

5. Pretty much, except that a Republican America
would require that women give birth to as many babies as possible. Contraception would be banned, along with abortion.

Anyone not suitably "Christian" by their terms would be looking at a difficult life.

9. China supposedly has one of the most pragmatic, intelligent political classes on earth
Edited on Fri Apr-02-10 10:54 PM by Juche
That is my understanding, that many are engineers and very pragmatic. The GOP with their superstitions, rabid ideology, rejection of climate change and embrace of creationism would not fit in there.

Full blown republican leadership would be like what you saw in latin america in the 1980s. Military authoritarianism, anti-communism, anti-worker, Friedman economics, etc.

Also China is working on a universal health care plan while the GOP in the US tried to block ours.
