Main DU Home Page perspective
mods please put this where it goes - in the trash if comments on design aren't welcome

The big headline next to the big video seem to suggest that they go together.
I'm always taking a few secs to realize they are two totally separate sections, usually unrelated.

Thanks

1. My quibble is with the Top Ten
which is buried in Journals and doesn't appear anywhere on the front page.

It should be the lead story from the time it is posted until late Monday/early Tuesday.

2. I agree
that the new design is hard to read and navigate. I tend to skip it entirely and go directly to discussions or My DU.

A few times I have thought that... Maybe a big black line down the middle or something?

on edit.. You could free up a lot of space by taking out the Ad-link column..I donated so I donno why its still there

9. I also
totaly agree with this. I click on the video and it has nothing to do with the headline. I should know better now but I keep making the same mistake. It is very misleading.

10. Maybe a different color background behind the video column?
.. or a line..
(I don't find it that distracting, but what do I know?)
