THE IRAQ WAR WAS WRONG

TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH WERE WRONG

DICK CHENEY WAS AND IS A LIAR

PEOPLE WERE MAD ABOUT HURRICANE KATRINA FOR A FUCKING REASON.

I'm so tired of hearing these right wing douchebags saying, durr they called bush names during the iraq war and durr they said he only cared about rich people, we're just doing the same thing.

No, you are not. we were not out trying to blow people's houses up or assassinate their children.

we were not out throwing bricks through offices and yelling racial slurs at people.

we were not out telling people we should kill those who disagree with us to get our agenda done.

we were showing up to peacefully assemble before being herded into "Free Speech zones" and WE were the ones getting spat upon then and insulted and called Un-American.

so don't tell US that you're doing the same thing WE did, because you're not.

We did the right thing. we won elections. you cannot win elections. that is not our fault.

the difference is BUSH WAS WRONG AND YOU HAVE LIED ABOUT HEALTH CARE ALL ALONG.

there is NO moral equivalence because we had the truth and you have lies, threats, and terrorism.

BUSH WAS WRONG AND YES, BUSH LIED AND PEOPLE DIED.

1. The bottom line
Edited on Fri Mar-26-10 07:13 PM by Mz Pip
in all of this for me is the fact that there were no elected officials egging on the liberal protesters. There were no elected officials cheering COde Pink from the floor of congress when they interrupted sessions.

Yeah, there are people on the left who go out and break windows, but they are not being encouraged to do so by our elected officials.

4. This False Equivalency BS is killing us in every argument .
Not every wrong committed by the right has an equal wrong on the left, yet the media will always find something to equate.
