Just the beginning...
Yes the bill opens the door for 30 million to get insurance....but unfortunately too we may see a vast expansion in the commercialism of medicine and healthcare.

Once the Repukes get over it and then realize there is major bucks to be made they will all be jumping on board to get some.

Medicine will decay at the hands of private sector Republican hypocrites without significant controls of the marketing and commercialization of healthcare the results will be just as what has occurred in every other for profit venture.

Maximize Profit...reduce quality.

First the profiteering must be controlled.

The first things to be done:

Ban of Prescription Drug advertising...in non-healthcare professional related media.

Ban advertising of medical procedures and services. (obviously the self-imposed ban and ethics rules a have failed)

Crack down on quackery and false advertising by over the counter drug makers. (diet pills, boner pills. gizmos etc..etc...)

Fund education for people who have the ability to be doctors with a National Health Corps program. Fed picks up
the bill for doctors working in the many federally funded future clinics in low income urban and rural areas. We need lots of new doctors and nurses. So lets start paying for people to become doctors and pay them accordingly and get them out of med school without a million dollars in debt.

Re-energize educational programs to fund science education in elementary and secondary schools. That is where the passion starts...

I am sure there is lots more that needs to be done.

This is just the start. We can't just sit back and let the profiteers make all there dreams come true once they wake up and smell the dollars just waiting to be made.

2. Prescription Drug advertising is needed as long as the side effects are included
I can't stand these ads but hopefully by having to list the possible side effects people will think twice before using them, and if taking them pay attention to any reactions.
Most doctors ignore educating their patients on possible drug reactions, and especially what to look for if a combo.of drugs are being prescribed.
