We'll still probably lose seats in November.....

But far fewer than we would've if this wouldn't have passed.

Now we have 7+ months of teabaggery receding as the jobs numbers post gains and the reality of the stimulus, the HCR, and the ever-recovering economy starts working for people.

It's pretty easy to sell an economy where jobs are increasing and uncertainty is receding.

The stock market will open a little lower tomorrow... but the markets like certainty. By the end of the week, they'll be up as it starts to sink in...

2. If we have to lose seats
I hope it's the seats of every Democrat who voted against reforming health care.

It remains to be seen if the economy will turn the corner this month or by November.

5. the expectation is that the March job numbers will be good
and that the major snow storms last month artificially deflated the numbers.

Also the summer job numbers always tend to be better, then you get into the back to school business that comes just in time for release before the election.

The numbers should improve, not dramatically, but they should improve.

12. Jobs numbers are seasonally adjusted using last 20 years worth of season data.
I am not saying jobs won't improve but it sounds like to be to be "counting your chickens before they hatch".

We have been hearing about how jobs numbers will turn for 3-4 months now and they always come in negative. Very close to 0 but still negative.

11. They would have run against HCR anyway....
whether the vote won or not.

They ran against HillaryCare in 1994, even though it never passed.

13. I don't think so..If we loose some of the districts I think
we will pick up in republican districts. You have to remember that there are a lot of republicans out there who WANTED A HEALTH CARE BILL. They just didn't have any way to express it.
