FAIRBANKS -- The state Department of Fish and Game took to the air this week to track and shoot wolves in the upper Yukon-Tanana region near Tok. Gunners killed one wolf on Tuesday and returned the following day to scout for more wolves.

1. I think it is just for a few wolves, one pack only.

A gal was killed and partly eaten a few days ago by that pack...supposedly..So far from what I have heard three wolves have been killed..

IOW, the trophy hunters are still welcome and being accomodated. Natural animal populations take care of themselves.
