Where is OUR Joe Lieberman?
Where is the man/woman in Congress willing to represent the 70+% of Americans that like the idea of a public option AND has the brass balls of a Joe Lieberman?

Where is our representative that will gladly meet with the hordes of network newspeople crawling all over themselves to hear the position of the man willing to defy a President?

Why do we have no deal breakers, last minute back-stabbers, throw a skunk into the party representatives? One would think that after watching absolutely nothing happen to Joe Liberman for his flipping the bird to the President of the United States a few weeks back in regard to HCR that there would be at least one representative willing to take a stand for the people.

The reason that person will not emerge is because every single Democrat in Washington is at least bright enough to now understand that there has ALWAYS been a deal between Obama and special interests in regard to HCR. It has been made crystal clear to them these last few days that in addition to facing the onslaught of the modern right-wing media lie factory in their re-election bids, they will also now face the very real retribution of the Obama Admin for voting no. No Democrat will get the velvet gloved, hands-off treatment that Lieberman got after his stunt by the Obama people because they are not playing a pre-planned role like ol' Joe was for the Admin. It will be interesting to note how any potential Dem "no" voters will be treated by the Obama Admin. in comparison to the way Lieberman has been treated.

The whole thing about so many Americans being denied a PO solely because private interests have acquired our government is the stuff that the blues and sad country music are made of.

2. My point exactly!
Witnessing the difference in treatment by the Administration in regard to Lieberman and Kucinich reveals much IMHO.

3. Kucinich and Lieberman are on the same side.
They both oppose the President trying to do anything about the problem.

4. My "nothing"! He will be challenged, and defeated, hopefully by a progressive from CT.
Don't know who yet, but whoever will join (again hopefully) Dick Blumenthal who will run for Chris Dodd's seat. Blumenthal has a good chance...

I hope Susan Byscewizc will be able to run against Lieberman in 2012 but her chances are murky at this point...
