3. I applaud the mods for locking the divisive Kucinich threads
I was getting sick of all the attack Kucinich threads. It needs to stop. It is harming the atmosphere of DU.

5. hopefully the mods will keep cracking down
if people have a pattern of posting these flamebait attack threads they should be shut down IMHO.

17. Yes those who have the temerity to suggest that Kucinich is an ineffectual legislator,
like myself, need to be eliminated from the DU Community; because they clearly don't belong here.

Did you mean to reply to me? I don't have a problem with your stance about Kucinich at all, we talked about it further down the thread. I agree with you that threads that are just criticism of Kucinich should be allowed.

7. Sure, if they are made in response to the flamebait attack threads
But if those threads are being shut down, probably those types of response threads won't be posted anyway.

9. I agree. There is a double standard here. Hillary, who had many more supporters
on DU than DK does, never enjoyed such privilege.

11. By attack threads you mean threads that criticise him?
Perhaps it is because the groupthink around DU is so strong on this issue that any criticism of Saint Kucinich is automatically flamebait. I call him Saint Kucinich not as a criticism of the man; from what I can tell he has a somewhat high opinion of himself, but you kind of have to to be a politician - certainly there are others who are far more egotistical and mission driven than him. I call him that because of how his supporters here at DU are seemingly unable to deal with any criticism of him. Bryant

flamebait attack threads. Look at the threads the mods have been locking today and you will see good examples. They have been right on target. By the way, I had my own Kucinch thread locked too, and it was in support of Kucinich. I'll admit it was a fiery support and deserved to be locked. So there has been no double standard.

14. My thread got locked too despite being a nuetrally worded poll
The problem is that Kucinich supporters are so enamored of their man that they can't deal with any negative words about him. In my opinon. Bryant

I totally understand Kucinich's lack of enthusiasm. He might be right. Will those with higher incomes and no federal subsidy vote GOP as a result..

Two ex-wives, and only one current, to be factual. But he gets a pass on that one.
