1. and that's for LIFE. Just do one term and you're covered.
Really gives them an incentive to give a shit about anyone else, doesn't it? :sarcasm:

3. Actually I think we should cancel congress's free healthcare ride!
Let them pay for their own like the rest of us.

8. they shouldn't have access to ANY special programs
They should have to purchase their insurance on the open market -- and get dunned for pre-existing conditions etc.

5. You would get exactly the same coverage if you mowed grass for the Park Service
Federal Employee's Health Benefit Plan - everyone from the lowest full time Federal employee to the President and his family have it, at a cost (the employee, no matter what grade from GS1-POTUS, pays a significant portion of the cost of their own health insurance). You do not need to be a member of Congress or their staff.

6. I see that your not up to date

stop listening to the right and listen to the present! We will all be able to get the same coverage as all federal employees if health care reform is passed!
my god how many of you research instead of repeating the propaganda the insurance companies and their dolts(lockstepping repuke) are spewing!
look at how much money the medical industry is spending to beat healthcare reform!
look at the idiots in the tea party who finally woke up to the right trying hi-jacked their movement-wake up!
simply google (can I get he same insurance coverage as a federal employee if healthcare reform passes)
then repeat it here! I have!

10. I have the same coverage as both of my Senators and my Congressman
I'm not listening to the right - I'm telling you what they and I have. It is the nonsense from both sides that have you so confused. It is the right that has convinced you that Government is something above you, and the Teaparty folks as someone below you. As for all that other stuff you stuck in there, I have no idea what you are talking about.

7. so if someone worked for the Park service for two years -- you're saying
they get their health insurance covered for LIFE?

Please direct me to a link where this states that fact. I'm not trying to snark - I just don't believe it. Yeah, if they work for the government they get the same programs. But the average peon doesn't have access to this insurance unless he does a twenty year stint.

Prove me wrong, please.

11. If you had worked for them for more than 2 years, yes you would have it just as I do
You work there until you earn retirement benefits, and then yes, you can carry it to the death bead. However like any other job if you just worked there for a while years ago ... well, what do you expect?
