It is the Civilian Leadership's role in this country to provide/establish Policy
It is the military's role to carry out that policy if it is policy necessary for military enforcement. I just heard Bush* say Democrats are trying to "micro-manage" the Iraq situation. That is a LIE Establishing policy is in no way "micro-managing". The (almost) new Policy is to leave Iraq within a certain time frame. That is policy, now it is up to the military to carry out that policy. No "micro-managing" going on at all. "Micro-managing" would be to tell the Generals which streets to patrol and how many soldiers to do it with...Bush* is an out and out LIAR and he needs to be called on it, and this is a real easy one....Most people I think know the difference between establishing foreign policy and telling Generals how they are to patrol the streets...
