The press was there so naturally, her (civil case) lawyer spoke. She has a lawyer for her civil case but not for her criminal case. Odd, huh?

I only saw the tail end. Her civil lawyer was talking about how Ms. Palfrey received bad counsel from her criminal attorney - was it a public defender? Don't know. That's kind of all I heard.

THere could be a 'gag order' issued to ABC News and they would not be able to disclose any of the information on that list. Of course, ABC News could move the courts to quash the gag order on the grounds of 'prior restraint' and violation of the free press guarantees in the Constitution --but that takes time, and may not be successful.

Anything that makes it more difficult to obtain an impartial unbiases jury pool can be restrained.
