When writing to MSNBC about Stephanie Miller, make sure you mention the word FEMALE.
In my e-mail, I mentioned how nice it was to have a liberal voice to balance out most of their other hosts, but I also mentioned how nice it was to have a FEMALE host. Have to let them know that they're appealing to 50-something percent of the population, as well as the more open-minded of the other half. :)

1. Have already written them
mentioned that Stephanie Miller was a much-needed breath of fresh air - especially after cowboy-hat-wearing-gum-chewing-mumbling imus. Thought the show was great!

2. I avoided labels all together...
I just put myself forth as an average viewer who was sick to death of the same, tired moring show format, and felt that Stephanie Miller was "a breath of fresh air - MUCH better than Imus or that Smerconish fellow they had on last week".

3. I missed her this morning.
:spank: I went ahead an set the Tivo for tomorrow while I listen to her on the radio. How did she do??????????????Live on TV??????????

She's great as usual on the radio. The sex scandal really gives her plenty of material.

4. Morning Radio & TV Is Still A Boy's Club
Steph did well this morning considering how uncomfortable it must have been to totally transport a show, do it from a remote location and have it under the eye of a national network. She also had to keep track of both radio and TV at the same time...it's amazing she was able to consentrate on anything she prepared.

The problem is the PTB in corporate broadcasting still don't trust women...other than to be a sexy kitten, ditzy blonde or background voice. Few stations will allow a female to fly solo in their most coveted slot...morning drive...almost always teaming them with a male to "make sure she doesn't mess up". Unfortunately, I suspect this could be a factor in her staying on in that slot...or it being given permanently to any female. I wish I was wrong, but 30 plus years of first-hand experience says it's how it is.

Overall, Steph did great. Hopefully this exposure will help her launch into a television project where she can focus her comedic talents and writing abilities.

5. That's a good idea.
It's also probably a good idea to mention Chris and Jim and the creativity.
