Brian Williams asked for a show of hands, as to who supported Kucinich's impeachment proposal.

Gravel started to raise his hand but put it back down when Williams started talking again.

Did anyone else notice that?

1. Somehow, I have little doubt Gravel would go for it.
The guy impresses me.

I just wish the "first tier" of candidates were as good as Gravel.

2. His voice needs to be there, but I don't support him...
Some of his ideas are terrible, and I think he dramatically exaggerates to get his point across. I just can't ever see Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden nuking Iran, no matter how much I may dislike them.

Then again, he's unpackaged. And that is sorely missing.

3. Except for his "flat tax" proposal, which he supports with gusto...
I'd probably agree somewhat.

5. OK--You guys got me on the specific issues.
Flat tax makes about as much sense as flat earth theories. I was pretty much reacting to his stance on the war and his record on Vietnam. I also like it that he called out those who would not make an unequivocal renouncement of pre-emptive strikes. And regardless of what you think Hillary or Obama might or might not do, I want to return to the fold of international comity, and leaving that threat hanging out there is no way to do that.

6. He also kept his hand down during the "War on Terror" question, but at the very end raised it.
