Whoa! Watching Tenet on 60 Minutes ...
so, Colin Powell did NOT lie to the U.N.!

I take back all of those bad things I've said about him.

1. I wonder if all the families of the killed soldiers & wounded soldiers
could file a class action lawsuit to claim the money he plans to rake in now.

He HAD the knowledge to prevent the war, and yet he said nothing.. HE's as culpable as ANYONE for the whole war:(

13. persecution complex. the funniest part for me was when he was trying
to make it look like his concern was for the hit the agency took. I found that to be utter gobbledygook.

5. Ah, my faith is restored!
"We believed Iraq had biological and chemical weapons."

Well da-yum! That's good enough for me, George. I totally get where you're coming from, because I believe in UFOs. I've seen evidence that compels me to believe they're real.

Of course, I never started any war over my belief in UFOs. But I'm sure if I did it'd be a slam dunk.

11. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
Because it makes so much sense to cart around unstable deadly chemicals and toxins in trucks. Anyone would have believed that one. Anyone who never saw an accident on the interstate.

8. Colin was marketing a war...
Edited on Sun Apr-29-07 09:54 PM by orwell
...which led to the wholesale slaughter of hundreds of thousands of people, created 2 million refuges, and increased worldwide terrorism.

He and Tenet are war criminals, along with the rest of the Bush Cabal.

15. Here is an interview with Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, Powell's assistant.
Edited on Mon Apr-30-07 11:21 PM by OmmmSweetOmmm
He has spoken out publicly that Powell knew there was a lot of questionable material in his presentation, and gave it any way.

Actually, now I'm beginning to wonder if Tenet's book and PR spiel is really Rove disinformation.
