explore the other candidates more - afterall they're supposed to be the NEWS. And, so far, the only candidate who is anything like "new" is Mike Gravel, but you're right we'll never see Mike on MTP.

5. I like listening to Biden actually

He can be frustrating, for sure, and I only agree with him on certain things, but he's a smart guy and can be interesting to listen to. Although he is famously long-winded, I mean listening to him for an hour is a chore, without a doubt. But these shows just have the same retreads over and over and over. Do we really need to hear somebody like McCain or Biden on again? For the millionth time. It gets pretty old, you know? :)

They are going to never get to some people on either side. MTP started with an absolute Washington insider who everybody has seen on his show all the time. It's easy to joke at, but, it is what it is. :)

13. Yep. I was assuming that if they have Gravel on,

they will also have the stronger "wing" candidates: Kucinich AND Paul. I especially want to see Ron Paul, because my husband is a Libertarian and I'd like to know if they come in a variety WITH a Social Conscience.

14. I know, I'm more interested in checking out Paul in the debates

etc than I am for any Dem candidate. I'm a Kucinich fan, but I'm just excited to hear Ron Paul's views in all of this.

Gravel was awesome the other day. I just love that he's a loose cannon, haha. Willing to say anything, that's great.

Sharpton and G. Bauer were pseudo-serving this function in previous elections, but both of them were actually just self-serving and not to be trusted, whereas I don't think Gravel is either of those things and RP may not be either, makes for a very interesting semantic environment!
