4. I wish he was running for president.
I understand he feels the Senate needs him more - and he's probably correct. But, I'm getting a little tired of all my favorite Dems not running. No Clark (who probably hasn't entirely ruled it out, yet). No Gore. No Feingold. No Schweitzer.

Sigh.

6. I agree ...
... although I'd like to see him as Vice-President Feingold under President Gore for a term or two, so he can grow even more into the International Statesman role to go along with his amazing record on domestic issues.
