So...some Fundys were waiting in the lobby this morning for their
bus to come to take them to their church. I came in from the store and decided to sit for a moment or so to see what the discussion was about. They know I'm a feisty Liberal but tolerate me because I make them laugh. The discussion of course was earthquakes and the tsunami. I said nothing until the tsunami discussion came up and then announced that "Of course Hawaii was spared the tsunami, Hawaii was the birthplace of our greatest President, God would never allow that." Crickets..... "Have a good day folks and pray for me"...LOL.

1. Great line!
I wonder what they were thinking after that comment. Probably nothing very christian.

5. Overloading their circuits is the greatest thing to do
I love it when they demand to know if I'm saved. Since I'm a bad Buddhist, I tell them, "no, I'm recycled."

I can always make a clean getaway while they're standing there with their eyes crossed and their jaws slack.

And for the record, my mother tried to turn me into an Irish Catholic, it just didn't take.

Except for the humor.
