9. The only person I have personally known to have (and die from) cirrhosis of the liver
Was morbidly obese and never drank a drop in her life. She was in her 50s when she died.

10. Obesity is the byproduct. What damages the liver is the excess gluocose (sugar)
and the increased insulin that wears down the liver that tries to manage the floodgates of the sugar and to keep it from entering the bloodstream to the brain. Ingesting too many carbs and often without sufficient protein will do that.
