Are most people in Utah brain dead? Calling these protesters a bunch of hippies? Asking why aren't they at work? Suggesting they want the Republicans out so they can get more welfare?

I live in this godforsaken state. I've lived here for over forty years and in the most conservative county in the state, Cache County. And though I've heard plenty of lamebrain stuff from my neighbors on politics, these KSL comments take the cake.

Truly, this is the old joke in black and white -- when you get off the plane at the Salt Lake airport, set your watches back thirty years. I might add: also make sure your brain is disconnected from reality to blend nicely with the majority of the population.
